DEMONS AND WINGS

 

            Demons and Wings is the product of close proximity to the composer David Maslanka. I easily understood his explanations of how to connect to the “creative space” that every creator attempts to find with every artistic medium. In following his advice, I revisited old dreams and allowed my imagination to take the images wherever it wanted to go. The seed imagery involved an unconscious angel with giant wings, falling limp from the clouds in a lighting storm. The lighting caught the now burnt angel and placed her gently into a bed of white roses. I encourage every listener to begin with this imagery when hearing Demons and Wings and then to allow your imagination to show you what happens next.
